‘He is so immature’: Man blasts Adekunle Gold for disrespecting Wizkid during recent performance with Davido (Video)

Popular Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold, also known as AG Baby, has come under heavy criticism online following a video of him disrespecting Grammy Award winner, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid.

However, Davidosurprised fans by joining Adekunle Gold on stage. The duo performed their 2021 hit collaboration song, “High”.

During the performance, Davido playfully flipped the lyrics from “Hennessy 250” to “Martell 250” and that was just the begining.

Adekunle Gold further raises eyebrows online as he changed his lyrics from “Fine boy like Wizkid” to “Fine boy passy Wizkid.”

Reacting to the above trending video of Adekunle Gold performing alongside Davido on stage, @bhenjy_cfr expressed strong displeasure over what he described as a change in the song’s lyrics, accusing AG Baby of being “immature” in the process.

The critic argued that Wizkid did not request to be mentioned in the original 2011 lyrics, adding that altering the performance to allegedly shade the Grammy-winning artist was unnecessary.

He further stated that Olamide, who played a key role in introducing Adekunle Gold to the music industry, would not have disrespected Wizkid in such a manner, as he called for more professionalism and mutual respect among artists.
