Investigators say the victim visited the suspect again on March 4, 2026. During that visit, the suspect allegedly convinced her to follow him into a nearby bush under the guise of gathering herbs for treatment. Police believe he attacked and killed her in the isolated area before dismembering the body to hide evidence of the crime.
Authorities disclosed that some parts of the remains were transported to another region while others were buried in secret locations. During questioning, the suspect reportedly confessed to the killing and led investigators to where parts of the victim’s remains, including her head, had been hidden.
The tragic incident has left many Ghanaians shaken, especially as the victim was described as a hardworking woman simply searching for healing and protection. Community members and social media users have expressed grief, anger, and fear over the disturbing nature of the crime.
