“I will work to get Tinubu out of office because I think he is bad news for Nigeria’s future,” he said.

“Our major agenda in the PRP is to unseat Tinubu. I’m not saying that only PRP can get Tinubu out of power, but we have a major contribution to make, and we’re looking for every legitimate opportunity.”

Baba-Ahmed accused the Tinubu administration of worsening the country’s economic and security challenges, claiming that Nigerians are increasingly dissatisfied with the state of the nation.

“He has messed up this country. He has made life more miserable and more insecure. Nigerians are desperately unhappy,” he stated.

“We know this for a fact. He knows it too, unless they don’t tell him the truth about how the country really is.”

The PRP chairman further said opposition political actors must put aside personal interests and unite ahead of the 2027 elections.

“So, half the work has already been done. The rest of the work has to be done by us, the heavyweights,” he said.

“We have to find a way to pool our resources together, pool our energies together, and decide whether we can shun selfishness.

“We can reduce the quarrels over who gets what. The key issue is to have a change of government in 2027,” he added.
