He explained that even families who owned televisions still preferred gathering with neighbours and friends to watch together because the atmosphere was more enjoyable, lively, and exciting, making entertainment feel special and bringing people closer as a community.
He said,
“I peeped from the window to watch the masquerade. I peeped from the window to watch Village Headmaster. These are the two unique programmes that, anywhere you hear the sound, it will even attract you. Even if there is a television in your house, you wouldn’t love to go to your house because you won’t enjoy it well.”…….
