Veronica stated that she subsequently entered into a relationship with a man identified as Elder Ebenezer of the Continuation Church at Bekwai Dompoase, who had expressed intentions of marrying her and had reportedly visited her family...READ FULL STORY; FROM THE SOURCE.

Speaking on a radio programme focused on social and domestic issues, she explained that the man persuaded her to release the money, claiming it would be used for investment and building projects.

He allegedly assured her that the funds would be returned once his investments matured.

“Elder Ebenezer came into my life and promised to marry me. He told me he had money in the bank that he wanted to use for marriage and to build his house. I told him the money was not mine but he insisted I give it to him and promised to return it,” she said.

She further indicated that she agreed to the arrangement based on trust, but later began experiencing financial hardship, particularly when she was unable to support her eldest son’s secondary education.

Veronica also claimed that after several months, communication with the man ceased as he stopped responding to her calls.

She added that since the incident, she has been going through emotional and health challenges, which she believes are linked to her late husband’s spiritual displeasure over the use of the money meant for their children.

The widow said she is seeking help and clarity over her situation as she continues to struggle with both financial and personal difficulties

“After giving him the money, three months later, he stopped picking my calls and I have not heard from him since.”
