A Ugandan man was reportedly assaulted to death by his friend following a disagreement over roasted rats.

It is reported that the disagreement later turned into a physical fight during which the deceased sustained serious injuries.
The victim was reportedly rushed to Orom Health Centre for emergency treatment but unfortunately was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police officers from Kitgum Central Police Station were later informed about the incident and immediately visited the scene before arresting the suspect.
Meanwhile, the deceased’s body was moved to Namukora Health Centre IV pending a postmortem examination.
The incident has left residents shocked as police officers continue with investigations into the circumstances surrounding the fatal fight.
