A young lady has been arrested for masterminding a robbery plot against her ex-boyfriend over claims that he was “too stingy” despite being financially well-off.

However, the plot took an unexpected turn when the leader of the gang recognised the intended victim.
Sources say the ex-boyfriend is well known in the area for being kind and generous to young people, including members of the same group the woman allegedly recruited.
Rather than carry out the robbery, the gang alerted the man about the plan. He immediately informed the estate’s security personnel.
When the lady and her friend later entered the estate to point out the house to the group, security officers, who had already been placed on alert arrested both women on the spot.
The suspects were subsequently taken into custody, where the lady confessed to orchestrating the plot. She also admitted that her actions were driven by anger and a desire for revenge, claiming that her ex-boyfriend never gave her money during their relationship despite having substantial funds in his bank account.
