48-Year-Old Woman Discovered Half-Naked With Trousers Tied Around Her Throat

A 48-year-old woman was found brutally murdered in Hamutsha Muungamunwe village in Limpopo’s Vhembe District. Police were alerted to the scene at approximately 6:45 a.m. on Saturday, 9 May 2026, following reports of a motionless body.

A pair of white trousers was tightly wrapped around her neck. Her underwear and tights were found near her legs, with one black shoe beside the body and the second shoe recovered several metres away.
