Bayelsa Police Confirm Arrest Of Man Found In Possession Of Suspected Human Parts (video)

The Bayelsa State Police Command has commenced investigation into viral report alleging that a man was found in possession of suspected human parts in Sagbama Local Government Area of the state.
The spokesperson for the command, DSP Musa Mohammed, who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, said the 40-year-old suspect identified as Peter Alale, has been arrested. WATCH VIDEO HERE

However, during interrogation, the suspect reportedly claimed he found the items at the Sagbama Council Secretariat Junction, Mile Three, and was attempting to dispose of them in a nearby bush before he was apprehended.
The police added that the recovered items have been taken for medical examination to determine whether they are indeed human parts.
The PPRO added that the Commissioner of Police in Bayelsa State, Iyamah Daniel, has directed an immediate and thorough investigation into the incident.
