Oh No: During Fire Ritual As Elderly Man Carrying His Wife Suddenly Slipped Into Burning Coals
A tragic incident during a religious fire-walking ritual in India has left one woman dead and her husband seriously injured.

Witnesses said he suddenly lost his balance halfway through the ritual and both of them fell directly onto the hot coals. Panic broke out immediately as people rushed to rescue the couple from the fire.
The man suffered severe burn injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Sadly, his wife later died from injuries sustained during the accident. Similar fire-walking accidents have been reported in parts of India during religious festivals in recent years.
