Police in Sagbama, Bayelsa State, arrested a 40-year-old man on Tuesday after he was found with suspected human parts inside a broken white plate at Council Junction (also known as Sagbama Council Secretariat Junction, Mile 3) in the town’s main area.
The suspect, identified as Peter Alale from Agbere community in Sagbama Local Government Area, told officers he found the items at the junction and was trying to throw them away in a nearby bush when he was caught. …WATCH THE VIDEO HERE

The Bayelsa State Police Command has started a full investigation. In a statement on Wednesday, Police Public Relations Officer DSP Musa Mohammed said the command has not confirmed the items are human organs, despite viral social media posts calling it a “fresh human heart.”
Commissioner of Police Iyamah Daniel ordered a thorough probe and warned people against spreading unverified stories that could cause panic. On social media, many Nigerians expressed shock and fear.
“This is too much, ritual killings everywhere!” one Facebook user wrote. Others called for quick justice, while some urged patience until lab results come out. The suspect remains in police custody.
